The University of Oulu is seeking for One Doctoral Researcher and one Postdoctoral Researcher to join a multidisciplinary research team to work on a new Infotech Oulu project “SAFE BIOMONITORING BY BIOICT INTEGRATED WEARABLES”

The successful candidates will join a multidisciplinary research group led by Prof. Juha Röning from the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at the University of Oulu and the Biomimetics and Intelligent Systems Group (BISG, The Co-PIs in this Infotech research project are Professors Seppo Vainio, Valerio Izzi, Sylvain Sebert, and Ville Pimenoff, who represent of the Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine and Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oulu, Finland. The researchers chosen through this recruitment process will work as a team with guidance from the abovementioned research leaders. The work will be data driven, in the biomedical field (Doctoral researcher) and biocomputing (Postdoctoral researcher) based on large source of biomolecular data (e.g. GTEX), genomics (FINNGEN) and longitudinal cohorts ( Doctoral researcher and postdoctoral researcher will also have some teaching opportunities.
